You are HERE in THIS MOMENT,
which is OK.
But because you want to be
somewhere else, for you, HERE and NOW is not enough.
You yearn for SOMEWHERE or
By doing this you are not fully HERE and NOW.
Your attention is already SOMEWHERE else,
doing SOMETHING ELSE,
via THOUGHT and IMAGINATION.
YEARNING or THWARTED WANTING results in a
feeling of discontentment because your EXPECTATIONS
and PREFERENCES are not being met by your perceived
reality of THIS MOMENT.
You may experience ANGER, SADNESS,
DISCONTENTMENT, lack of FULFILMENT, or some other
negative emotional reaction.
Changing the focus of your thoughts changes your mood.
If you replace ANTICIPATION with APPRECIATION, or
ACCEPT instead of EXPECT you feel better.
If you stay PRESENT in the MOMENT,
without IDENTIFICATION with THOUGHT.
you can not feel bad.
